Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday launched the ambitious Rs 100 lakh crore Gati Shakti Master Plan to provide multi-modal connectivity to more than 1,200 industrial clusters, including two defence corridors across the country.
“We are laying a foundation for the next 25 years. This national master plan will give ‘gatishakti’ to development plans of the 21st century and will help in the timely completion of these plans,” the Prime Minister said after launching the plan.

The employees also stoked sales of Amazon private-brand products by rigging Amazonโs search results so that the companyโs products would appear, as one 2016 strategy report for India put it, โin the first 2 or three โฆ search resultsโ when customers were shopping on Amazon.in.
Global debt rose to a new record high of nearly $300 trillion in the second quarter, but the debt-to-GDP ratio declined for the first time since the start of the pandemic as economic growth rebounded, the Institute of International Finance (IIF) said on Tuesday.
Total debt levels, which include government, household and corporate and bank debt, rose $4.8 trillion to $296 trillion at the end of June, after a slight decline in the first quarter, to stand $36 trillion above pre-pandemic levels.
