happy new year guys! kurt and i are back in seoul and we just finished our 10 days of mandatory quarantine here in korea. regardless of vax status or visa, everyone coming in to the country has to quarantine, but since kurt is korean and i have a long term visa, we’re allowed to do it in the comfort of our own home. if you’re a short term visa or flying from a list of countries (the list makes zero sense and needs to be ripped up imo) you have to stay in a $$$$$ government facility.
im so thankful that not only was i able to quarantine comfortably, but that i was able to do it with kurt. i think i would have been in a very different mental state if i had done this alone, so if you’re preparing for this for the first time, try to set up times to video chat friends and family (even if you’re just watching a movie at the same time or something lol) because it can be rough. luckily for the two of us we were just antsy and wanted to walk lol.
