My response to the New York Times published business article of April 17, 2021, in which I submit the following rebuttal to the author’s opinion that Realtors® are advocating incorrectly. The ecosystem of housing is complex and there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution-ever.
Every single neighbor is different. Every single property is different. Everything needs a personalized solution. CDC Eviction Moratorium or blanket Moratorium does not make sense. The best solutions come from the private sector. The National Association of REALTORS is the private sector.
How can you help the housing crisis in the country? Why not look at yourself as a landlord potential? Maybe you can provide a home for someone in need.
