This was a bit of an experiment for me. I have never done the NY Times sudoku before so I thought I’d check out the Hard level and see how it compares with The Guardian’s usual stuff. I think on balance, it was a bit harder although that could have been my own shortcomings at a.) using the computer and b.) I missed something obvious that was staring me in the face for ages.
