उत्तर प्रदेश के अलीगढ़ का नाम बदलने को लेकर एक बार फिर से राजनीति शुरू हो गई है. सोमवार को नवगठित जिला पंचायत की बोर्ड बैठक में जिले का नाम बदलकर हरिगढ़ किए जाने के प्रस्ताव को पास किया गया. सदन में मौजूद जिला पंचायत सदस्यों व जनप्रतिनिधियों ने इस पर अपनी सहमति जताई. अब ये प्रस्ताव शासन को भेजा गया है.
