The Adrian College men’s soccer team will begin the Micheal Hatfield era on Saturday as the Bulldogs host the Trine University Thunder. The non-conference game will begin at noon. Adrian College has decided to limit attendance to the event to the family members of players only.
“The guys have worked so hard during this off-and on-time frame to make this happen,” said new Head Coach Michael Hatfield. “The focus, the sacrifices they made and everything else. (The fact that we are playing the) game is all about them.”
Adrian College Television (ACTV) will provide a free livestream and the link is available here. The Bulldog athletics communication office will have Live Stats of the play-by-play accounts via computer and portable devices.

There will only be two guests per player, and only those persons on both lists will be granted entry into Docking Stadium. Family members will get a temperature check at the gate and should wear a mask while also practicing social distancing during their visit to the game. Hatfield noted that the team is very excited to have the opportunity to play at all during these uncertain times in the face of the pandemic.
Adrian College officials have taken a proactive approach in trying to achieve a sense of normalcy on campus, including intercollegiate competition, while doing so safely and adhering to health guidelines at the local, state and federal levels.
