Hi guys! Here’s another technique I use some times for cutting my own hair!
THE BASIC OUTLINE OF THIS TECHNIQUE is to first cut a clipper’s width cut along your hairline.
The length you can choose what ever you’ll like, in the video I use a 1/4 (#2) for this. If you wanted your hair longer then mine use a longer guard.
Then I go ahead and to cut up along the side all the way to where the top of the head STARTS. I use a 1/2″ (#4) guard.
Why do I use this guard for the next cut?
I see what is the middle( guard) length between the cut I made at the base of my hairline and the length of the hair on top of my head.
I choose 1/2 inch for this, you could too if you wanted hair similar to my length.
If you want longer hair, use a larger guard.
If you watch the video it should make more sense! 🙂
