Boeing 737 MAX aircraft resume passenger flights in the US

Boeing 737 MAX aircraft have resumed flights in the United States for the first time following a 20-month safety ban.

The ban was officially lifted by Federal Aviation officials last month.

Airlines and Boeing have worked to reassure the public of the safety of the 737 MAX.

The MAX was grounded in March 2019 after two fatal crashes in five months.

One incident occurred in Indonesia and another in Ethiopia.

The two crashes killed a total of 346 people. Featured image is a screen capture of a news story.
