Building a DIY Basement for my OFF GRID LOG CABIN in the WILDERNESS | Aggressive Bear Visits

I’m building a wood foundation with a three room basement for cold storage and off-grid utilities using charred wood wood preservation (shou sugi ban). I install a sand point well in the greenhouse to provide drinking and irrigation water.
To escape the heat and the bugs, we spend time on my favourite lake.
A black bear visited us during the day and got aggressive with my wife, daughter, dog and me so I had to make the difficult decision to harvest it for food before it hurt someone. I cook it in a cast iron crock pot over an open fire while working on the log cabin on the new homestead.
