Can the British public solve the New York Times Crossword?

In this video, I hit the streets to see if the general British public have what it takes to solve the New York Times Crossword. All credit to the legendary Max Fosh for the concept; he gave me executive permission to make this.

The (Monday) crossword in question:

COVID DISCLAIMER:
This video was filmed in accordance with the UK Government’s Coronavirus guidelines at the time of recording (as with all of my videos, this one was filmed weeks before publicly being uploaded, when the lockdown was in an ‘easing’ period). It took place in a well-ventilated (i.e. windy), outdoor space in an area not under local lockdown, and PRIOR TO the Government’s ‘rule of 6’ regulation came into effect. Neither myself, Edward or any of the people who came up to the table were displaying any COVID symptoms, and participants came up to help at their own discretion. Facemasks were worn by many of the participants, and we offered to wear masks too if it made people feel more safe.
