Thirteen people, including a solider, died in a firing incident in Tiru village area in Nagaland’s Mon district on Saturday evening. Superintendent of Police Imnalensa confirmed thirteen deaths in the incident.
As per reports, a group of civilians from Oting village were returning home in a pick-up mini truck when they were shot at by security forces. Local sources said that volunteers from the village had gone searching for them as they had not returned for several hours and found their bodies in the truck.
