Crazy Headlines that Kick BUTT – Copywriting Challenge for your Overworked Liver!
I got an assignment to launch a new liver-saving formula – but I just didn’t think the market really understood WHY they needed to take care of their liver.
Talking about the heart and brain is easy – but the liver? Well – that was much more challenging! I thought it was important to educate the market to really bring attention to this problem.
So what did I do?
After watching numerous TV commercials about hepatitis – Bam! The light bulb went off!
So I pulled out a copywriting trick that’s worked for ages. It’s called “dimensionalizing”!
Yep – I wanted to bring the liver into the forefront of my prospect’s mind. I wanted to add some drama and flair! So with the help of the brilliant graphic designer, Lori Haller – we created the “Liver Guy”!
This cover showed the prospect what was going on inside his body.
Man oh man – this cover was eerie enough to get your attention but not scary enough to make you walk away.
Did this creative approach work?
OMG! Did it ever!
