“San Francisco’s Doomed” was recorded by Crime, a/k/a “San Francisco’s First and Only Rock and Roll Band,” at His Master’s Wheels Recordings, located at 60 Brady Street in San Francisco, in March 1978. It was released for the first time on a compilation LP with the same name in 1990, when Crime’s style of Punk became popular with a wider audience than the underground Punk music junkies that had kept Crime’s music alive during some lean years from 1976 through most of the ’80s. It was rereleased on the “San Francisco’s Still Doomed” compilation LP in 2004.
