Queensland has recorded five new cases of Covid-19 overnight and the lockdown in Brisbane and Moreton Bay will continue for another 24 hours, but it will be lifted in other areas including Townsville.
Three of the cases are in the community – one linked to the partner of a check-in worker at the international airport; a further two cases are in hotel quarantine.

Annastacia Palaszczuk says authorities need another day to contact trace.
The three day lockdown started on Tuesday at 6-pm after concerns about a hospital worker who had been in the community, including travelling to Townsville and Magnetic Island.
