An Iranian nuclear scientist was assassinated by a remote-controlled machine gun mounted on a car.
This report came from the country’s semi-official Fars news agency. Iran is blaming Israel for the attack.
The scientist was traveling in a bulletproof vehicle when the shooting occurred.
Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was killed in the attack last Friday.
