New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy Issues State Of Emergency

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has issued a state of emergency ahead of the powerful winter storm that is moving through the area.

The state of emergency went into effect at 2pm today.

The northern part of the state is expected to see 12 to 18 inches of snow.

The storm could lead to power outages across the state.

“If you experience a blackout, please immediately report it,” the governor said.

“If you see a downed power line, stay a safe distance away and call it in.”

On Tuesday night, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf signed a proclamation of disaster emergency ahead of today’s winter storm.
