Two Atlanta police officers were ambushed responding to a shots fired called at an apartment in Midtown, officials said. According to Atlanta Police Chief Rodney Bryant, the officers were immediately met with gunfire when they arrived and elevator doors opened. One of the officers was hit. They were taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.
