– I’m definitely more conversationally fluent in French! on the CERF Language scale, in French I’m between B1-B2, which equals being able to give a clear, complex, prepared presentation. In Swahili, I’m between A2-B1, which means I can give a more straightforward, less complex presentation. CERF levels are flawed though take them with a grain of salt !
how long have you been studying foreign language?
– I took formal French classes in HS for 4 years, then I went to college and haven’t taken any since! I’ve heard Swahili around the house my whole life but only took 1 year of it in college.
