Tom Brady’s time in Tampa Bay got off to a great start on Sunday. Then things took a turn for the worse.
His rushing score was exciting to fans around the league, but the New Orleans Saints have a deadly defense.
Brady finished 23-for-36 for 239 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions, with three sacks and an intentional grounding penalty.
Those really aren’t bad numbers. I still believe he’ll turn things around. Plus, New Orleans is always fantastic.
He looked a bit down, sitting on the bench as the Saints drained clock late, seeing his Tampa debut not going at all like he envisioned all summer long.
